GEO is the work of making a business easy for AI answer engines to find, understand and cite. That means clear answers on your own pages, consistent business details, and accurate listings on the sites those engines already cite. It builds on SEO rather than replacing it. GEO aims to get your business named or cited inside the answer an AI tool writes. Both rest on the same foundations: pages search engines can crawl, a clear structure, and accurate business details. Does it show the answer text and links behind every finding? Does it tell you what it didn't measure? And does it promise rankings? No one can guarantee what an AI tool will say, so a promise is a warning sign. In the Audit, Google AI Overviews are checked on your agreed keywords, and ChatGPT and Gemini are checked once, as a snapshot. It isn't ongoing tracking. RankX Search Intelligence has no partnership with OpenAI, Google or any AI provider. ## How long does GEO take to show results? No one can promise when, or whether, AI answers will name you. Answers vary between runs and between engines, and the engines are run by third parties. What we can do is record where you stand before any fixes, and in a Sprint re-check after the fixes are made. Each fix is then reported as verified fixed, still open or not rechecked. That way you see what moved and what didn't, rather than a forecast. ## How much does it cost?
